PRIVACY DECLARATION GILLISSENVAARDERS.
This privacy statement applies to all personal data, the Gillissenvaarders Foundation – hereinafter referred to as: the Foundation – processes its members, participants and / or other interested parties.
If you become a member of the Foundation or provide personal data to the Foundation for other reasons, you give your explicit permission to process your personal data in accordance with the privacy policy of the Foundation. We strongly advise you to read and save the privacy statement.
01. Responsible
The secretary of the Gillissenvaarders Foundation is responsible for processing the personal data, by address: Proosdijland 19 Vinkeveen. The Foundation has its registered office in Edam, Chamber of Commerce number: 63140837. The secretary can be reached via: info@gillissenvaarders.nl or bestuur@gillissenvaarders.nl
02. What data does the Foundation process and for what purpose.
The personal data are processed for the following purpose (s):
02.1 Member administration, including the financial administration;
02.2 Inform about news, activities, invitations to meetings, etc.;
02.3 Sending (requested) information.
02.4 Recording the history of the ship, in accordance with the objective in the deed of foundation of the Foundation.
The basis for processing this personal data is signed registration for membership of the Foundation.
For the above objective (s), the Foundation will request the following personal data from you:
** first name, middle name and last name;
** address, zip code and city;
**telephone number (s) and e-mail address (es);
**Bank account number;
** information about the ship, such as: name, dimensions, year of construction, home port and (possibly) history.
Photos of the ship and of events can be placed on the website of the Gillissenvaarders Foundation.
You can choose to have a travel report posted on the Foundation’s website.
Your personal data will not be provided to third parties by the Gillissenvaarders Foundation.
The information requested on the registration form, which is marked with a red asterisk, is mandatory in order to become a member of the Gillissenvaarders Foundation.
03. Email reporting.
The Foundation uses your name and e-mail address to send you messages with information about activities, events and other interesting information about the Foundation. Unsubscribing from this mailing list is possible at any time via a request to the secretary.
04. Retention periods.
The Foundation processes and stores your digitally recorded personal data for the duration of your membership up to a maximum of 1 year after this membership ends.
05. Security measures.
We have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unlawful processing.
All persons who can take cognizance of your data on behalf of the Foundation are bound by confidentiality and have therefore signed a confidentiality agreement and have been informed of the importance of protecting personal data.
We make backups of the personal data in order to be able to restore it in the event of physical or technical incidents.
06. Rights, regarding your data.
You have the right to inspect, rectify or delete the personal data that we have received from you. You can also object to the processing of your personal data (or part of it) by us. You also have the right to have the data provided by you transferred by us to yourself. We can ask you to identify you before we can respond to the aforementioned requests.
If we are allowed to process your personal data on the basis of your permission, you always have the right to withdraw this permission.

Any other questions and / or comments about this privacy statement or the Foundation’s privacy policy can be directed to the secretary.
You always reserve the right to submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority; the supervisory authority in the field of privacy protection.

This privacy statement can be changed. The changes are announced on the website. We advise you to view this statement regularly.
